I am Ingrid de Jong and put my heart and soul into painting and writing matching stories and poems. Years ago I started taking painting lessons and still do with great pleasure. I can completely lose myself in it and it stimulates me to grow and be inspired by others. Writing was another passion that I engaged in daily and that only a few got to see. The confidence in my talent and the enthusiasm with which I am supported have made me decide to combine these 2 skills. I like to see how one reinforces the other and brings it to life. The short stories accompanying each work of art are mostly a mixture of recognizable reality and fantasy and inspired by the moment. The beauty of art is that the experience is constantly changing and is different for everyone, every day, including me. I hope you will be moved by it and also take the freedom to let yourself be carried away by your own emotion and fantasy.
